Blog Post Southwest Riverside County Bank Homes Located Near Outdoor Recreation

Category: Real Estate Trends

Published: Tuesday, June 23, 2009

Families with young children make up the largest segment of the foreclosed home buying market and are finding Murrieta foreclosures and Winchester bank homes the perfect fit for their active, outdoor lifestyles. Here are just a few of the outdoor activities awaiting buyers of Southwest Riverside County foreclosures:

Water Sports

Buying Murrieta bank homes put you close to the City's Aquatic Center at California Oaks Sports Park while residents of Temecula can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park on Pauba Road. For area-wide water fun, there is recreational swimming close to Murrieta, Temecula, and Winchester residents at the Diamond Valley Lake Regional Aquatic Facility.

Ballparks

Families with children love to play baseball, softball and T-ball and there are dozens of fields across the valley for new homeowners flocking to the area's affordable Murrieta and Temecula bank homes. Some of the area's best include Hunt Park in Historic Downtown Murrieta, Ronald Reagan Sports Park in Temecula, Los Alamos Hills Sports Park in Murrieta, and Domenigoni Park in Winchester.

Skateparks

Skateboarding is something that never seems to go out of style as evidenced by the number of quality skateparks in the valley. The City of Murrieta's skateboard park is located at California Oaks Sports Park. Winchester skaters can hit Ballin Skatepark on Finch Road and Temecula skateboarders can visit the Temecula Skate Park at Ronald Reagan Sports Park.

Hiking

The hills are alive with plenty of creepy crawlers throughout the year, and there are hiking trails around the valley that will take you up close and personal to some of the best wildlife outside a zoo. The Santa Rosa Plateau is located at the western edge of Clinton Keith Road above Murrieta and has miles of hiking, bicycling and walking trails. The Hogbacks in eastern Murrieta can be reached from Los Alamos Road and the hills of DeLuz are accessible off Rancho California Road. Nearby Palomar Mountain is accessible from Highway 76 east from the I-15 and there are several miles of hiking trails surrounding Diamond Valley Lake.
