Murrieta foreclosures led the Southwest Riverside County region in May, with 639 homes falling to foreclosure. These homes include executive homes in the Copper Canyon area, active senior community homes in the Colony and Four Seasons, and traditional single family homes in the California Oaks neighborhoods between I-15 and I-215.
Other Southwest County communities also reported significant foreclosure activity, increasing the number of bank owned homes available to smart buyers looking to close the deal on their new dream home. Temecula foreclosures and Lake Elsinore bank homes were nearly tied, with 529 and 517 respectively. Nearby Menifee foreclosures reported less than half of Murrieta's total at 283 while Wildomar foreclosures ranked lowest in the Southwest County region with just 142 foreclosures in May.
